東長寺節分大祭は福岡、博多では最も古い節分祭です。 海外の留学生との国際交流の場として、七福神、お多福、赤鬼、青鬼に扮して節分祭に毎年参加して頂いています。2月3日近辺には福岡県内の神社各所で節分祭が行われています。是非、「福」を招きに訪れてみてはいかがでしょうか。

【Outside of Castle】Hakata Gion Yamakasa
A festival with more than 700 years of tradition, held every year from July 1 to July 15 in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City. This is one of the Gion festivals dedicated to the Shionson devoted to Kushida Shrine. In 2016, it was registered as an intangible cultural heritage by the UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization).

Summer festival is held at the Fukuoka City Hall Fureai Plaza in early August. The Tenjin Summer Festival is a place where both adults and children can dance together in a circle. 【Outside of Castle】Gokoku Shinto shrine maid festival
Every year, the Obon Festival will be held at the nearby Mori Seigoku Shrine for four days from 13th ~ 16th August. More than 6000 bonbons shine in the night sky. A flea market is also be held.

春の博多どんたく・夏の博多祇園山笠とならび博多三大祭りに数えられる筥崎宮放生会は「万物の生命をいつくしみ、殺生を戒め、秋の実りに感謝する」お祭りです。9月12日〜18日の7日間、参道一帯に数百軒の露店が立ち並ぶ、九州随一の秋祭りです
【Fukuoka Castle Town】Autumn Samurai Festival
